When installing heated towel ladders, it's important to follow the guidelines set out in the Australian and New Zealand AS/NZS 3000:2018, which defines bathroom zones and the IP ratings required for electrical items in each zone. Zone 0: Inside the bath, shower, or basin. Electrical items must have a minimum IP67 rating and be low voltage

Zone 1: Area above the bath or shower tray. Requires IPX5 rating, low voltage, and a transformer located beyond Zone 2. Only low-voltage products are suitable in this zone.

Zone 2: Extends 600mm outside the bath or shower area. Electrical products must have a minimum IPX4 rating. All Code Heated Towel Rails are suitable for use in Zone 2.

Zone 3: Any area outside Zones 0, 1, or 2. No IP rating required
